End-of-Life Doula Services
My desire is to support people as they answer the question, “What must I do to be at peace with myself so that I can live well and die wise?”
Dying is a sacred part of life and deeply human experience. Like life, each death is unique and deserves time, care and attention. Talking about death and planning for it can be a tremendous gift to yourself and your loved ones.
My desire is to accompany people on their journey in a way that aligns with their values, beliefs and wishes – with their agency prioritized, surrounded by care and held with compassion and dignity.
Are you facing the end of your own life? Preparing for the death of a loved one? Or simply wondering about the meaning of death in your life?
I provide non-medical, holistic support designed to ease the physical, emotional, and spiritual labor of dying. Services include:
- End of Life Education: Increasing an individual’s knowledge of end of life and death care options so you can plan in alignment with your deeply held values. Connecting you with resources, including professional services, books, websites, and other tools for support. Educating you and your family on the stages of dying.
- Advance Care Planning: Facilitating conversations and documentation around personal wishes, values, and choices including Advance Directives, etc.
- Legacy Projects and Memory Work: Helping individuals reflect on and preserve meaningful stories, values, and messages for loved ones.
- Family Education and Respite Support: Providing guidance and relief for caregivers during an overwhelming time.
- Vigil Planning and Presence: Creating and holding space during the final days and hours of life.
- Planning living funerals, home funerals, memorials and celebrations of life: These moments should be as unique as the person being celebrated. Let’s talk about what would reflect and honor your life best.
- Providing bereavement support during the grieving process: When a loved one dies, we can be left feeling lost, alone and overwhelmed. I have years of bereavement experience and can offer personalized support if needed.
Values
My practice is rooted in:
- Compassion: Meeting each person with empathy and without judgment
- Integrity: Providing honest, clear communication and ethical care
- Presence: Offering calm, grounded support in emotionally intense moments
- Advocacy: Supporting clients in expressing and protecting their end of life choices
- Respect: Honoring all identities, traditions, and beliefs around death and dying
All services are individualized and can be adapted to suit different spiritual, cultural, and family needs. I am not a medical provider, attorney or financial planner.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Statement
Death does not discriminate, and neither does my care. I am always learning, listening, and working to ensure that the services I provide are accessible, affirming, and respectful to all.
I am committed to creating a space that honors all identities, backgrounds, and beliefs. I recognize that systemic inequalities impact the way people navigate loss, and I strive to offer compassionate, inclusive support to everyone—regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, ability, age, or socioeconomic status.
If you have specific needs or concerns, I welcome the conversation. You deserve support that meets you where you are.
