About Yoga

A Practice for Every Body

Heather teaching yoga

Journey

Heather’s yoga journey began in 2010, taking classes at the local YMCA. Over the years she was exposed to various teachers and styles. Although the physical movement felt good and came natural to this former tumbler/dancer, it was really the sense of inner peace and calmness and mental clarity that kept drawing her back. She decided in 2017 to pursue a yoga teacher training course. She graduated in 2018 with her YTT200 from Pilgrimage of the Heart Yoga in San Diego, CA and is Yoga Alliance Certified.
